Steam canceled the download and used the disc instead.
I didn't click on cancel, I went into the disc and launched the installer and clicked the re-install button. After you register the game with steam and assign the activation key to your user name steam will attempt to download episode one and two, along with half life 2 deathmatch. Overall Review: I feel terrible for the guy on the other review that had to download it over eight weeks time. I already have it from when I bought Half Life 2.
I haven't played them, I had the orange box for the xbox 360 and am still playing the story for half life 2 on my pc, but their both awesome games.The other reviewer is right that the games end when it's only beginning to get good, but the ride on the way is great.Ĭons: I don't have anyone to gift the extra Half Life 2 deathmatch to. You can either pay 9.99 for this game, plus 2.99 shipping or buy them from steam for 14.99 each and then have to download them.
